- I earned my BFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2026.
During this time I fell in love the dialogue (trialogue?) of maker-tool-material. Honing in these three relationships to find a smooth way to transform raw material into functional objects was the primary focus of my in school projects. Beyond maker-tool-material, I also developed my skill with veneer patterning, called marquetry- though I really am more proficient with parquetry. I found this form of making to be highly intuitive, the process of cutting veneer strips repetitively with a veneer saw brought out patterns from the material in a manner the sketchpad simply could not.
